OPENING DAY! We will meet each other. I will provide
an overview of the course and my expectations. Students will complete a
student information form.
Thursday, Aug 30, 2007
We will finish reviewing Classroom expectations. Students
will receive their texts books. We will start the first section
(The Colonial Experience) of the first unit (Political Causes and Effects
of the
American
Revolution). We will define government and build our understanding of
colonial governments.
Assignment: Cover Text Books, Answer the following questions:
1. Define government in your own words. 2. Explain the role you feel government
should play.
Friday, Aug 31, 2007
Complete our framework of government and take notes on
the colonial experience. We will also do a map exercise locating the 13 original
colonies.
